Claywork : Ceramic Artwork & Sculpture

Claywork specializes in ceramic sculpture and tile. My pieces are slab-built or sculpted out of white-earthenware clay. After being bisque fired, they are airbrushed and painted with underglazes, then glazed. This involves at least two more firings. The tile pieces and mirrors are sometimes assembled with wood, metal and grout.

I have a fascination with natural forms and imagery, and a love of texture and color. I try to combine these elements using clay as a medium.
